Leadership has always been personal for me.
For more than two decades, I’ve coached executives and worked alongside leadership teams navigating growth, change, conflict and the pressures that come with responsibility.
Along the way, life gave me my own leadership laboratory.
A progressive neurological disease gradually took away my ability to walk. I adapted, became a full-time wheelchair user, and kept finding ways to make life work.
Then, in 2025, a team came together around an audacious goal: help me climb Mount Kilimanjaro in my wheelchair.
I went to the mountain with years of ideas about leadership, resilience and what people are capable of.
The mountain challenged them.
What I experienced there has deepened the work I’ve been doing with leaders my entire career: helping people see what’s getting in the way, recognize the choices available to them, and become more capable of meeting what’s being asked of them.
